All of us at the Computer Museum of America (CMoA) understand how much life has changed in just a few short weeks for everyone. We have missed being open, chatting with visitors, and continuing to raise awareness of our museum among individuals, corporate entities, and charitable foundations. Though this period is challenging, we will all move forward and be stronger from the lessons learned during this global crisis.
One thing we can do right now is extend all annual memberships purchased in 2019 or 2020 before March 14th by two months. So you will have two additional months to visit and take advantage of all your member benefits.
You may consider supporting CMoA during this time in various ways.
A Cash Donation
We can assure you that every dollar is appreciated and used thoughtfully. From exhibit installations to sanitization efforts, our mission and guests will remain the focus. To make a donation, visit http://computermuseumofamerica.org/donate/.
*The Federal CARES Act is made up of several different ways to help people, small businesses, and nonprofits manage through these unprecedented times. A new deduction is available for up to $300 per taxpayer in annual charitable contributions. This is particularly beneficial to people who take the standard deduction when filing their taxes. The amount of the donation is an “above the line” adjustment to income that will reduce your adjusted gross income, and thereby reduce taxable income. Please consult a tax professional for more details.
